A passionate lover of hot glass on a journey of exploration to find and create that magical moment that captures hearts.

Chelsea Littman was born in Cleveland, Ohio in 1989. From a young age, she was interested in material and process, and creating something out of nothing.

She started drawing from observation in middle school, leading her to attend Cleveland School of the Arts, which allowed her to explore a variety of media, including ceramics. Upon graduating she went on to get her Bachelor of Fine Art from Alfred University, where she first discovered and fell in love with hot glass. After graduating, she returned to her hometown where she worked for public access studios, teaching workshops, and making production pieces for the gallery and lighting designs. In 2015 she had a solo show titled Love in Black and White, featuring powder stencil pickups in glass and silver gelatin prints.

In 2016, she had the opportunity to take a weeklong intensive with Stephanie Trenchard and Jeremy Popelka at Corning Museum of Glass, where she revisited her love of hot casting. A year later, she was offered a position at Popelka Trenchard Glass, where she continues to work as their assistant. She participated in the Indiana Green Invitational 2021, a group show featuring artists in Wisconsin, and had a solo show titled Collection of Connections in 2022.

She is most interested in the details, the texture and luscious luminance of glass, especially clear glass. She is continually exploring surface and subtleties.
