Hot Sculpting

Working with Stephanie Trenchard and Jaime Guerrero has opened the door to the world of hot sculpting, these two works were created during a weeklong workshop at the Pittsburgh Glass Center in May of 2022 with Jaime Guerrero.

Baby steps. It takes the time it takes. These first steps into the world of hot sculpting are exciting examples of beginning to work glass in a different way, the turns become flips and centered takes on a whole new meaning. Legs and feet have always been my favorites to draw, incredible in the way they hold us up and take us where we go, beautiful curves and cute, weird little toes.
